It wasn’t easy to get there, but without a doubt, it was a lot harder to leave. We lived in Cartago in 2014, when we first visited Santa Teresa. We took two buses and a ferry, and we would do it again and again. See, this is the place where you actually go to relax. Now that I think about it, that last sentence will probably be repeated in the next posts we will share with you, I guess we relax too much, or not enough.

I usually think more of the future, than I do of the past. The future is filled with possibilities, dreams, paths that can lead anywhere. However, the past comes up sometimes, and I have to admit, it is a comfortable place… childhood laughter and games, stories with known endings, certainty. And then comes the nostalgia, for “the good days”, for times and places that I was never in, but can’t help but admire, and wonder what life was like back then.

I would say the weather in Costa Rica is beautiful. Not all Costa Ricans would agree, and yes, we do have rainy days, tropical humidity, and wind, but we also get those perfect sunny days that take your breath away.
