Saturday Finale - KCFW

When a new year comes, we tend to focus on the future, on what’s to come; and that is probably the wise thing to do. However, there is a specific week from last year that keeps coming to my mind, Kansas City Fashion Week.

I must confess, I have been procrastinating on writing this last post. Unlike the other posts which got posted fairly quick, the last event has been sitting at the bottom of my “To do list”.”. I later discovered I had been resisting to write the review because it meant giving closure to such an amazing experience. However, as a new year comes, I am sure there will be new and fabulous moments I will like to share with you. So here it is, the wonderful Saturday night I got to sit on the front row and delight myself with the twists and turns of fashion.

There were so many beautiful designs that it would be hard to pin point a favorite; however, I have to say I loved LaRae’s dresses. Seriously, they are meant to be the wardrobe of a fairytale! I was amazed not only by the creativity and beauty of the garments, but also at the fact that the designer, Madison, was only 16 years old at the time! I am marbled at how far talent and passion can take you.

Dream on my friends, someday it will be your day :)
